UCD Boat Club
The club is truly shocked and saddened with the passing of Jonathan Devitt.
Johnny made an enormous contribution to the club, not least as Captain in 2002 and 2003. He created foundations that the club still builds on today and it was fitting that he received a Centenary Medal in recognition of this in 2017.
We offer our most sincere condolences to his wife Caroline, his family, his crew mates and all who knew him.

Following the cancellation of the 2020 Championships, UCD raced some pieces in perfect conditions at Lough Rynn to wrap up the season.
Thanks to Carrick Rowing Club, Leitrim County Council and Rowing Ireland for accommodating us at an incredible facility, and to Cork Boat Club and Dublin University Boat Club for making the trip and providing some cracking competition.
We look forward to building on the hard work put in by the squad and coaches next season.
