Yet another fantastic day for the club was had at the Dublin Metropolitan Regatta on Blessington Lake
On the 100th anniversary of the historic Head of the River Race (HoRR), UCDBC has won the Overseas Pennant for the fastest time from an overseas crew. 🏆🚩
✈️🇬🇧 UCDBC is sending two crews to the London Head of the River Race @eightshead (HoRR) this weekend, one of the most iconic rowing events in the world. Racing on the historic Tideway from Mortlake to Putney, our crews will line up amongst over 370 boats from across the globe in the 100th anniversary edition of this incredible race. 🏆
After a number of years of falling short, our reserve boat has brought the Naggon Cup back to UCD. This win is a reflection of the growth in our squad depth, and a foundation to build on as we set our sights on the upcoming races over the next few weeks.
On its 21st edition, UCDBC have reclaimed the Dan Quinn Shield, ending a six-year drought since our last victory in 2018. Through an outstanding performance from our novice squad, the Shield has returned back to Belfield! 🏆🔵
