UCD in Amsterdam
UCD entered 2 eights in division 4 (category for Heavyweight Intermediate oarsmen) of the recent Heineken Roeiverkamp in Amsterdam.. The club is truly shocked and saddened with the passing of Jonathan Devitt.
Johnny made an enormous contribution to the club, not least as Captain in 2002 and 2003. He created foundations that the club still builds on today and it was fitting that he received a Centenary Medal in recognition of this in 2017.
We offer our most sincere condolences to his wife Caroline, his family, his crew mates and all who knew him.
