UCD Ad Astra rowers Shane Mulvaney and David O’Malley were honoured at the 2019 UCD Sports Awards while the club’s Senior Treasurer and Coach Niall Farrell was presented with ‘Graduate of the Year’.
The duo had an exceptional 2017/18 season that was capped off by winning the Mens Lightweight Pair at the U23 World Championships, the first Irish win since the event became a FISA Championships in 2005.
