Arthur Clery
Professor Arthur Clery founded the club in 1917 and was the driving force behind its revival that began in 1928, masterminding the new boathouse. He sadly passed away before the official opening in 1932 but his legacy was invaluable to the success that followed.

UCDBC ARE HENLEY BOUND! UCD Boat Club is officially heading to the Henley Royal Regatta 2026 to compete for the Prince Albert Challenge Cup in the 4+! This marks our first time racing at Henley in 3 years.
