More success for UCD Boat Club at the annual Irish Indoor Rowing Championships, which were hosted by the club in UCD Sports Centre. The event had a record entry of 425 competitors with UCD retaining the Championship & Collegiate pennants with strong performances at J18, U23 and Open levels. UCDBC member and UCD Sports Scholarship student Finbar Manning also set a new national record in the Junior 18 Heavyweight category with a time of 6:23.8. 👨🏻 In aid of Movember this year UCD Boat Club is running a campaign to raise money to help “change the face of men’s health”. Members are growing out Moustaches all month long for the cause and will be posting progress reports weekly. Sea swims, Ergathons and forfeits are all to follow when we hit our targets. The goal this year is to raise €3,000 for this great cause. We encourage anyone who sees this post to share it with friends and family to help us reach our targets.
