Butler Cup
Butler Cup is an annual tradition dating back to the 1930s that takes place before the UCD Christmas break, giving 1st year novices their first taste of competitive action.
Rowers are paired up and race each other in a knockout competition using the battleship 'tubs'.
Results, tactics and hard luck stories can be debated at length in Hartigans later that day...

UCD won all four adult Mens 8+ events at the Irish Championships, a first in history![]()
