The club was saddened to hear of the death of Helen Carty (née Moloney), wife of 1962-63 Captain Austin Carty, last Sunday.

Both Helen and Austin spent their working lives as Radiologists in Liverpool, with Helen at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Liverpool Cathedral at 11.00am on Tuesday, 30 May.

Our thoughts are with Austin and all of her family, may she rest in peace.
