Henley 2009 - UCD coaches and Temple Cup crews

Henley 2009 – UCD coaches and Temple Cup crews

Today was a proud day to be associated with UCD Boat Club with two UCD crews in the 2nd round of the Temple Cup. Bittersweetly it fell to the Senior boat to knock the Intermediate group out of the competition, who managed an easily verdict after an impressive start put them a length in front by the end of the island. The Senior boat are now through to the quarter-finals of the competition and will face Princeton University at 5.20pm tomorrow.
Irish interest: Temple: UCD ‘A’ vs. Princeton University USA, Thames: Commercial RC vs. Molesey BC, Visitors: NUIG vs. New York & Camp Randall USA, Prince of Wales: Old Collegians/London vs. Sir William Borlase’s & King’s Ely, Britannia: Fermoy RC vs Glasgow RC, Diamonds: Mannion vs. Campbell.

Further information on the draw is available from the regatta website www.hrr.co.uk
