With the Gannon Cup 8+ concentrating on their Colours preparation, UCD’s Intermediate 8+ lead our representation at Erne of the River on 5th March.
Irish Indoor Rowing Championships 2016
UCDBC placed 1st (Paul O’Donovan), 2nd (Shane Mulvaney) and 4th (David O’Malley) in the U23 Lightweight category at the 2016 IIRC, with Paul recording a fantastic 6:07.5 score. Martin Connor of UCDBC also placed 2nd in the Novice category.

UCD Boat Club had a busy day’s racing at Trinity Regatta last weekend, Saturday 19th April. Former UCD oarsmen Sean Jacob, Gearoid Duane and Peter Grogan were also successful for alumni club Old Collegians.

UCD Boat Club retained the Wylie Cup, winning it for the second year running at the Irish University Championships at the National Rowing Centre in Cork on Friday 11th April.
