To immortalise the historic 1974 Ladies Plate success of the Animals crew, UCD Boat Club head coach Niall Farrell has created a film documenting the crew’s win. With interviews from the crew and coaches, this documentary walks through the history and events surrounding one of UCD’s greatest sporting successes. In addition to the recognition of the year's accolades, we will be celebrating both the 50 year anniversary of the founding of the Ladies Boat Club, as well as the 50th anniversary of the success of the 1974 Animals crew at Henley.![]()
