4 Bronze for UCD at u23 world championships.
All 4 of UCD's athletes competing at the u23 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria will be returning home with a Bronze Medal to their name
David O'Malley and Shane Mulvaney in the lightweight pair were first onto the podium, crossing the line just behind the Italian and Turkish crews following an incredibly close race that saw each of them take the lead at different stages down the course.
2 races later Andrew Goff and Shane O'Connell ,making up half of the Irish lightweight Quad collected there own medals finishing strongly behind the Suisse and Austrian crews.
Well done men!

After an excellent race in the rep yesterday, Dave and Shane are into tomorrow's LM2- A Final.
This afternoon Shane and Andrew will look to do the same in their LM4x A/B semifinal.
