Off to a winning start: Dublin and Offaly Sculling Ladders

First two results of the season in for you. David Neale won the Offaly Sculling Ladder on the 6th of October and went on to make it two out of two with a win this week in the Dublin Sculling Ladder. He was joined by Andrew Griffin, a first year scholarship student, who won the best junior prize and finished third overall. Congratulations also to Amy Bulman who won the prize for fastest lady. This was a good day for UCD as we saw a greater number of participants enter this year.

This year also marks a significant milestone for our stablemates, Blackrock College who had a huge representation at the event. We wish them well for the remainder of the season. Elsewhere this weekend we saw three novice 8s out on the water, our newly formed novice sculling setup up and running, and a further 3 eights training in Blessington.
