More success for UCD Boat Club at the annual Irish Indoor Rowing Championships, which were hosted by the club in UCD Sports Centre. The event had a record entry of 425 competitors with UCD retaining the Championship & Collegiate pennants with strong performances at J18, U23 and Open levels. UCDBC member and UCD Sports Scholarship student Finbar Manning also set a new national record in the Junior 18 Heavyweight category with a time of 6:23.8. 🍊🇪🇸 Our 2026 Seville camp has once again been filled with hard work, training and the Spanish sun. This block capped off a strong winter for the squad, highlighted by a strong showing through the nine 8’s competing across both clubs in our annual Seville 5k. A huge marker of the progress being made across the squad.
