A Table Quiz was held on 25th June to raise money for the Henley fund and to subsidise a training camp for the Novice group. The event took place in the traditional mastermind arena of Madigans in Donnybrook and despite some controversial questions, an enjoyable night was had by all.
The first placed team of Jim Kenneally, John Holland, Richie Harnett and John Walshe took home a Bank of Scotland umbrella, a Bank of Ireland Asset Management cap, and a bottle of wine courtesy of Kevin Towey each.
We would like to express our enormous appreciation to all our sponsors who supplied gifts on the night. Booze, restaurant vouchers, cosmetic hampers, golf balls were all up for grabs in the raffle and very few people left without a prize from the night.
A total of 1700 euro was raised on the night thanks to the great support of everyone on the night. The athletes greatly appreciated it.
