The club travelled to the Championship course at Inniscarra, Co. Cork to contest Cork Regatta on Saturday 14th June.
The Intermediate squad made up for the disappointment of only finishing 5th in the Eights by winning the Fours event by a sizeable margin of two lengths over Garda and University of Limerick.
The UCD ‘A’ Novice Eight could not transfer the speed gained at Blessington Lake at Metro down south as the finished 3rd to NUIG and Neptune who fought it out until the line, while the ‘B’ Eight finished fifth.
There was also two Novice fours competing however the attention given to the Eights told when the fours were outclassed by Neptune, UL and UCC respectively.
Johnny Devitt again finished 3rd in the highly competitive Inter single sculls event, this time to Merlin Tanner from Bantry and Stephen O’Sullivan from Skibbereen by two lengths.
